September 2013 Product Update

After 3 long weeks in Nepal,  I finally arrived home after sourcing some fabulous new products.  I was lucky enough to find a whole new range of exciting Home & Decor Fair Trade items that should be ready to ship to Australia in mid-November.

Dashain, the biggest festival on the Nepalese calendar falls around the 15th October and Nepal virtually shuts down for about 10 days allowing most workers and people in general to spend their only real 'holiday' with their families.

It is the equivalent of Xmas in the western/christian world.

With summer fast approaching we are really excited to be able to present an updated range of Ladies casual wear and some really interesting new Felt items.

Keep checking out the website as we add these new products.

We have a very busy market schedule over the coming few months and look forward to presenting new products like:

Mens Hemp T-Shirts
Ladies fashion accessories and jewellery
A lovely new range of Ladies soft cotton and Bamboo fibre tops
Women's Leather and Hemp bags
Fantastic new Christmas decorations in paper mache, recycled materials and felt as well as Fair Trade Lokta paper for wrapping of those special gifts
After so much anticipation we are really proud to finally have the website 'live' and look forward to adding lots of new products regularly in the next few weeks.
A VERY BIG thank you to Emma Barber from Speakn who put this site together along with Nicky, who in between running the house, doing the markets, juggling other jobs, somehow managed to co-ordinate and write most of the product content. Emma has been a breath of fresh air for Nicky and I in this process and has been responsible for the simple yet elegant theme and some invaluable hints and tips throughout the process.
Another big thank you to Lisa Friebel ( Graphics Design) for her inspiring new logo and 'branding' of From Nepal,  this new look has been so well received by everyone associated with us.
Stay tuned and keep checking us out as we grow into this new and exciting phase of  From Nepal!!!!!
