Founded in 1970, Anomhi’s ethos is rooted in craft conservation. Anokhi aspired to be an alternative role mod for ethical business practices and the ongoing revival of traditional skills. 
This beautiful jacket hand stitched in small village workshops and at home. This decentralised production supports village and family life.

This jacket has been created with traditional recipes and techniques used in India for centuries . The stand out feature would have to be the attention to detail and craftsmanship of the hand stitching ❤️
• natural black comes from a mixture of scrap iron, molasses and water 

• shades of blue are from indigo

• tumeric and pomegranate create a varied palette of greens

• kassis  made from iron deposits gives a rich shade of greys, khaki and brown

All these dyes are used in combination with “Dabu” - mud resistant printing

is handmade using natural dyes is made from 100% organic cotton, grown without the use of harmful pesticides and fertilisers. Therefore the cotton is super soft to touch and beautiful against your skin.
